| Offering: | The Prince Edward Island TC/TSO is committed to providing quality service to the Canadian taxpayer. It is the second largest federal government employer on Prince Edward Island and employs almost 10% of the total number of people employed in the City of Summerside. The Tax Centre opened in October 1993 as a national centre to process Goods and Services Tax deposits and returns and to make rebate payments. Our role now encompasses processing returns and payments for individual and corporate income taxes, other levies, and other remittances. We play a key role in redistributing social benefits, and we are the national processing centre for domestic rebate payments. In addition, the Summerside Tax Centre hosts one of two CRA national Print to Mail facilities, regional administrative support teams, Information Technology Branch East, and computer servers for Veterans Affairs Canada and Superannuation. |
